Stackers

All coordinates that are called something with: Origin are referring to the SMX model coordinates!

Under the stacker sheet there are 3 tables that needs to be filled out:

1) Stacker 2) LongitudinalStacker 3) CalculatorLongitudinalStackerWOPosMeas

The Table Stacker is information for the SMX model that needs to be created for the pile system:

Stacker Tabel:

This is the number of stackers for the pile. This is normally just 1.

Merger: this is filled in automatice from the flowsheet.

SampleInterval:This is how often there will be sent analysis to the SMX model. The interval cannot be shorter than the sample interval from the Online analyser.

TransactionTimeout:  this is the time maximum time that the program will wait for an analysis before the last know value is send to the SMX model.

Normally we will just use : SampleInterval of 1 & Transaction timeout of 15 as per default values.

LongitudinalStacker:

The table for LongitudinalStacker needs an X origin and a Y origin, a height and a direction for the axis it moves along. The X and Y origin is the center of the pile system for the Stacker location (See figure) and the coordinates are based on the SMX model coordinates. So in this case where the SMX model is 200 m (X-axis) and 40 m (Y-axis) the center is:

100, 20 (see also table below) which also is the center of the SMX model.

Figure illustrating the location and coordinates of the X and Y origin of the Pile

First 3 inputs are to name the signals coming from the OPC/PLC:

Stacker status: STS (Run-Stop signal)

InPile1: Naming of where the stacker is stacking - Here in Pile 1

InPile2: Naming of wehre the stacker is stacking - Here in Pile 2

SpeedPosDir: The speed of the stacker when moving in the positive direction (get from site)

SpeedNegDir: The speed of the stacker when moving in the negative direction (get from site)

Moving Directions are used for the calculatorblocks so it know which way the stacker is moving:

MovingPosDirection: Forward

MovingNegDirecition: Reverse

These 3 inputs are some optional feed that are only used for filtering signals.

MaterialFeedSTS

MaterialFeedPV

MaterialFeedLimit

Pile Position sensors The naming of the pile positions sensors can we as suggested here or what ever the site is using.

For instance here: Pile 1 Position sensor 1: is named: P1P1.

Same for Pile 2.

Pile at Conveyor: This is at which pile the material is coming in: either next to Pile 1 or Pile 2

Lenght of the conveyor: combined lenght of the conveyor from the online analyser to the stacker and the boom conveyor. it is to tell the system the shortes distance and then it will automaticallly add the length the stacker moves when it operates.

SimLayercount: for when running in simulation mode - default value is 25.
