If IP cameras are available on a customer site, then it is possible to integrate these into the HMI pictures on QCX. The HMI part for this is supplied with Fls.Core so it is available on all systems.
Note! Requirement to the camera is to supply a moving jpeg stream also called mjpg or mjpeg.
Camera HMI Part Setup
Open HMI Editor and then in toolbox find the camera parts under Media.
Choose the part that fits with web camera ratio. Drag it to HMI canvas.
Finally set properties "Url", "User name" and "Password".
Finding Camera Settings in Manual
This is an example from D-LINK 6113 camera in Copenhagen demolab.
By consulting the camera manual the following can be found:
For example: http://<"ip address">:<"http port">/<"access name for stream 1~5">
For example, when the Access name for stream 3 is set to video3.mjpg:
1. Launch Firefox.
2. Type the above URL command in the address bar. Press Enter.
3. The JPEG images will be displayed in your web browser.Checking Camera Setup
In order to check camera setup for the D-LINK we open a web browser and login as administrator. Click on the small maintenance icon.
In maintenance window under Audio and Video->Video Settings we find stream 2 to be defined for moving jpeg.
With the above knowledge we can set up the HMI part.
Checking the camera in HMI we can see the floor in Copenhagen demolab where the DCF was once located.
Axis Media Camera in Demolab
For the Axis Media camera in Copenhagen demolab, the manual did not reveal anything about moving jpeg, but after some research the following settings were found.
And video is working.
