If BLX will not do a "Recalculate" and comes up with an error message it can be caused by one of these situations:
- If all feeders have been in starvation. Check the event historian and see if there are any feeders alarms. This can happen during Mill stops, if the feeders PV goes to 0 before the feeders get a stop signal the feeders goes into starvation.
- If the SPtotal signal is set up wrong. The SPtotal have to be the: "Set Point to the Mill" and it has to have a value even when the mill is stopped. If the SPtotal is 0 during mill stop BLX will not calculate. This can be checked by looking at a trend of the SPtotal together together with Mill STS and Mill production. SPtotal should have a value even when the mill is stopped.
- If a feeder dont have any signals assigned BLX will not do a recalculate. This can happen if a site have more feeders in the configuration than whats being used. To solve this all feeders will have to get a signal and the used feeders have to be set to be operator inserted with the value of 0.
- If the elimination time is shorter than the combined hold up time in the process then BLX will also give an errro message. F. ex. if the plant have a ball mill with a hold up time of 15 min and the is an extra delay of 4 min in the process (from feeders to mill ect.) then the elimination time cannot be below 19 min.
