The QCX data export is configured with the QCX Import/Export Editor, and then select Point Export:
Create a new export configuration with the "New" button, give the Export a name and Select the Sample point, and optional Material type for which you want to export data - use Save to store the configuration:
Now add some data to export with the "+" sign under Export Entries:
It is wise to organize the Core tags for the export in a structured manner - especially if many tags are created. The QCX Refence tag browser can be used to create both the structure and the Core tags for the data items - open the browser with the Browse button:
First create a new root tag for the export, but selecting the top root "Local area" and then press the "+" sign. Next enter a name for the root tag, such as QcxExport. - press Enter to create the tag:
If export is done from multiple Sample points, add a new level like Rawmill. - and possibly also the Material types if individual export for these are configured. Press enter to create the tag:
Now we can create the Core tag to hold our exported values - name them with the relevant data item name, and press Enter:
For each data export tag, select DataValue and FloatValue for Table name and Column name, and the the actual Data item to export - preparation and procedure is optional and only needed if the data item can come from multiple sources:
When a sample from the configured sample pont has been analyzed, can the values of the Core tags be verified with the Tag Value Browser:
Browse to the created root for the export and see that the exported data is updated - compare with the values in the Sample viewer:
To get the data out in a ECC points, from where they can be written to a PLC or OPC server, there need to be a ECC point for each of the data values - use the ECC Point Editor to create these point.
The points can be located under the same root tag as the Core tags with the QCX data values - or they can be located under their own root tag.
If they are located under the same root tag as the QCX data tags, name them each so it is clear that these are the ECC tags - for example by calling the ECC tag the same as the QCX tag, and then add ECC:
Configure the I/O Interface part as for any other ECC point on the specific interface:
The important part is to add the QCX data item tag under the Output control - as Output value - and an Output period for how often the value is written out to the PLC (Minimum default value is 5 seconds)
AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANT to add a dead band value, so the data is only updated in the PLC whenever the QCX data item has changed.
The value will then only be updated if the data item changes more than the dead band.
The Output period is used to specify a minimum time which has to elapse between each update.
The Analog properties of the point can optionally be updated, with Min and Max values - notice that the Output Max is default set to 100, so this should be changed if the data item value can be higher than 100, such as for LSF:
