How to change Raw Material name in BLX

It is possible to change the name of a Raw Material i BLX.¶

Do a backup of the current system and save under a different location!!!!

There are two ways of doing the change.

1) If both Material Type and Raw Material name have to be changed then follow guide A:

2) If just the displayed Raw Material name have to be changed then follow guide B

Guide A

First the name have to be changed under Material type in QCX:

Go to QCX Lab Editor and change name for the wanted Raw Material

and click OK












Now go to the configuration --> BLX --> Raw Materials












Select the right Solution!

And system must be in maintenance mode to be able to do the changes.

Now the MaterialTypeId should have changed to the new name.

Then it is possible to edit the DisplayNameId to the new name

And to change the Designation to the new name.
















Now go to BLX and do a refresh and the new Raw Material should be displayed.

Chhange the chemistry if nessary (if new Raw Material with different chemistry have been added).

Guide B

(select right solution)

In Configuration --> BLX --> Raw Material

Select the "DisplayNameId" Now change the name








Save changes

Restart Workplace

now the name should be changed
