How to remove an oxide from BLX

===it is possible to remove an oxide from BLX.===


If the BLX system have been generated with a lot of differnet oxides the estimation takes a very long time and BLX often generate a warning saying that BLX have not been responding for X sec. of time (for instance: BLX have not been responding for 63 sec).


For a normal BLX system using LSF, SIM and ALM the main oxides that should be present is:
* SiO2
* Al2O3
* Fe2O3
* CaO
* MgO


Other oxides can off cause be included in the configuration, but the more oxides thats included the more calculations BLX have to do for each estimation. So it is recommended to keep the included oxides to a minimum.

All TrendableOutputs including MgO have to be deleted. This is done by finding the right subsection, then selecting trendAbleOutput, find the row with the oxide to be removed and and then press "Delete" on the keyboard (image #3).


This needs to be done for all the trendableoutput listed in the progress window (image #1 & 2)

By following the listed dependencies in the Progress information window all the dependencies can be deleted one by one.


Finally the selected oxide can be deleted in the Dataitem table (Image #1).


After this close Workplace


Stop and Start Services


Start BlX and edited the HMI to remove the deleted/removed oxide.


Try to do a recalcuate Set Points to check that BLX is still working.
