How to set up BLX Performance Viewer

IN BLX 8.4 commercial release / 8.3 software release there is a <strong>'''Performance Viewer UI''' </strong>avaliable but it is not incorporated in the engineering tool yet so it has to be set up manually for now. 
There are a few steps that have to be done: 

1) Convert a standard to solutions and import

2) Import a KPIgeneral solution

3) setup avaliable KPI's (performance indicatiors) in the configuration

4) setup the performance viewer UI. 

Step 1)
use standar2solution and generate a BlxKpiPlantSection solution per plantsection. 
This is required so each plantsection gets its own solution and own KPI / Performance page in the UI. '''Make sure the plantsection name is exactly as in the configuration!'''
Import the solutions to the configuration.

Step 2)
In the generic configuration the indiviaul KPI's have to be setup. 
Open the BLX Kpi configuration and the KpiData 
Here each defined KPI have to be added like shown on the image below. And, all KPI's have to be defined for each plantsection.

Step 3) Set up the performance viewer UI
When opening the UI for the first time it is a blanc screen and a user page for each plant section have to be configured. 

To create a new page - Click: Edit and a blank canvas opens. Give it a name and description.

Select the right Plantsection and then the Visuals can be dragged and dropped on the canvas. 

There can be choosen between Bar chart, Pie chart, Trend, Tables and Gauges.
to add data - drag selected KPI into the selected visuals.

Remeber to save! 

To delete a visual - drag and drop it in the trash bin in the lower left corner of the canvas. 
to delete a page - click on the red CROSS in the upper Menu bar.
