How to set up recipes in BLX
BlendExpert have the option to set up different recipes.
- Recipes are created in the Configuration window in the Silo Details window.
- A recipe is selected by the drop down menu in the top right corner.

- To get a recipe to work
- All feeders must be represented in the recipe!
- The right Raw Material also have to be selected at the feeders!
- Else BLX will give an Alarm and go off control.
- Easiest is to ensure all Raw Materials and all feeders are represented in the recipe.
In the configuration window click on the:

Fill in the
- Recipe name
- Selection mask (a number which have not been used for the other recipes. Her number 0 and 1 are in use – see red arrow)
- Click OK.
Then the following screen window appears for setting up the recipe:

Now click on the (+)
- This inserts new lines in the window
- Click under Name and a drop down list appears.
- Insert enough lines for each feeder to be represented.
Now select either:
- To include all Raw Materials and all feeders (a line for each)
OR - AT LEAST one Raw Material for each feeder, all feeders have to be included.
- Then fill in targets and constraints for the recipe.
- Press OK
The new recipe can now be selected from the drop down menu under Recipe selection.
- Select the recipe and wait for it to shift.
- If the recipes don’t have the right raw materials selected then BLX will stop running and give an alarm.
- Go to the feeders and select the right Raw Materials. Then the alarm will go away.
