How to swap raw materials between feeders in BLX

If it is needed to swap the raw material between the feeders it can be done fairly easily.

It involves using the:

It is not possible to just swap the raw materials directly because then the same raw materials will be used twice at the same time and BLX dont like that. So to do it a Temporary Raw material have to be made. This will be delete again afterwards.

In this example Feeder 1 have Clay and Feeder 2 have Kalksten. This needs to be swapped so Feeder 1 have Kalksten and Feeder 2 have Clay.

1) Do a backup and store in a safe location!

2) In QCX Lab Editor: Create a Temporary raw material have to be made.

3) Configuration - BLX - BlendExpert - Language: Here a new Language instance have to be made for the temporary raw material. (Remember to select the right solution for the right mill). The new material can just be typed in.

4) Go to RawMaterial in the BLX configuration. Select right solution. Select the Raw material that needs to be replaced. Now Replace it with the temporary raw material. it has to be done for: '''Designation - Display NameId and MaterialTypeId''' .

In this case Clay is replaced with the Temporary. When this is done Clay will be free (not used in the configuration and next Clay can be used to replace another material). System have to be halted/maintenance to be able to save.

Try to do a chech under the Subsections -- Merger - Merger - Feeders: Feeder value (for the required feeder) Now it can be seen that the temporary raw material is assiged to the feeder that before had clay.

5) Now the Raw Material: In this case Kalksten will be swapped with Clay.  Do the same procedure as before see image.

Now Feeder 2 which before had Kalksten have Clay Raw Material.

6) Feeder 1 which in this case have the temporary raw material now needs the right raw material: Kalksten. This is now free because we just used Clay instead of Kalksten.  So repeat the procedure now replacing Temporary with Kalksten.

Check in BlendExpert Feeders that the right feeders now have the right raw materials.

So now the raw materials in feeder 1 & 2 have been swapped:

Finally - Delete the Temporary Raw Material.
