To use a software license key instead of a physical dongle requires a bit more work.
IN the start menu under FLSprogram open: FLSmidth Software License Manager
This is how it looks. There are two options: offline activation and online activation. Here is the Offline activation described.
It involves several steps including contacting 800fls.
In Asbuilt 5 when creating a license a new license key is generated.
Copy this key to, for instance, a notepad file and move it across to the QCX server together with the actual license.
Then insert the key in the license manager like shown on the image below.
Browse to the location where the generated request file should be saved - in this case it is the C./temp folder.
When clicking on: "Generate Request file" a file is created and stored in the selected folder.
This xml file with the request is sent to 800fls which then will generate a
Response file
This response file is then uploaded and now
Activate can be clicked.
And now the license should be working.
