Step by Step
- Make a backup of configuration and runtime databases… in the unlike event of something goes bad
- Create new BLX engineering file based on the original file and including the new Online Analyser and the preferred configuration.
- Use BLX Builder to create new solution files
- The following files needs to edited (see also link above to example of files):
- Specific Solution:
- Fls.Core.Config.Solution.xml
- Fls.Core.Ref.xml
- Fls.QcxBlx.Mill.Config.xml
- HMI Solution
- Fls.Core.Config.Solution
- Fls.Core.Hmi
- Folder: Fls.Core.Hmi
- Delete all EXCEPT the three files defining the online.
- In each file delete everything not related to the Online Sampler as described in the following table:

| Specific solution: Fls.Core.Ref.xml | Remember to keep the original roote down to the info on the Online Analyser – see example Else delete all not related to the online sampler. |
| Specific solution: Fls.QCX.Blx.Config.xml | Delete all sections NOT related to the Online Analyser. Remember to delete the three lines called: successorSubsection related to the online sampler. Can be found towards the end of the file. Do a search. |
| HMI Solution: Fls.Core.Hmi | Under Mimics: delete all files NOT related to the Online Analyser |

Transfer the files to the system
Import the solutions folders to QCX
- Ensure the files are in the original solutions – have right solution names!
- In Config – Config – Blx – Plantsection add the online to the list of subsections by adding a new line and selection the Online.
- In Config – Config – Blx – Subsection change successorSubsections to right order for example: Merger delay 1 online mill lab …..
- Edit the HMI and add the online mimics in the Matric.
