The import driver takes an analysis from a shared folder and imports it into QCX.
Also use the Import driver manual (can be found on FLSadev or on the help on the QCX server)
Steps on setup:
- Run the QCX.driver msi file and select Import driver to be installed on hard drive.
- Use the Standard2Solution to convert the standard to a solution file
- Import the solution to QCX
- Set up the QCX lab (see: How to set up Manual Lab with XRF). Call it something with Import instead.
- Under Equipment for the Laboratory Cell only add the Offline equipment.See image 1:

Set up the required Sample point and Material type in QCX Lab Editor and select the Laboratory and Remember to select: Recipe Management (Image 2)
In
QCX recipe editor use the pre-configured Manual recipe. In Selection: set required sample point and material type for the manual recipe.

Under Program: Edited the default program under Offline Procedure and Equipment to include all the data items and derived items needed (Image 4)

Go to QCX Equipment driver
- In the driver Specific xml file do the following corrections.
- Activate the right personality – here in this example: Bruker
- Set Preparation, Procudure and Equipment as in example below.
- If connected to a sample taken signal set SampleTakenPolicy to: -2 , else set to -1. Read also manual on Import driver for other settings
- Set filepath for the shared folder.
- Insert MethodId (see from exported XRF file)
- Make sure all the data items needed for QCX are defined in the specific xml file.
